Board Members Pose With Their Gift to FACT in January, 2014

Our People – FACT’s Governance

The Ferret Association of Connecticut is governed by a Board of Directors, many of whom have been with FACT since our early years, as well as an adjunct Advisory Board. Our Board and Advisors have diverse business backgrounds and skills including executive level sales, marketing, management, finance, engineering, medical sciences, education, and computer services. In addition to their personal commitment to ferrets as a domestic companion pet, each also receives training on their fiduciary role and the responsibilities of managing a charitable organization.

FACT’s Executive Director is a nationally recognized authority on the care and behavior of domestic ferrets. She was a featured writer for Ferrets Magazine throughout its years of publication. As a professional bookkeeper, she has extensive experience in non-profit accounting and has a certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Trinity College Center for Neighborhoods.
