Help the Ferret Association of Connecticut in our mission to help ferrets in Connecticut and New England by joining as a Foster Grandpaent.

Many of the ferrets that arrive in any shelter are elderly and/or ill. Realistically, it is almost impossible to find an adopter for these animals.  We do not put an animal to sleep unless it is medically necessary. Rather than keep them all in the shelter, our solution has been to place them in permanent foster homes with associate members. FACT supports the cost of their medical care for the remainder of their lives. For many of these oldies, this will be the best care they have ever received. You can help care for these gentle survivors by signing up as a monthly sponsor for as little as $5 per month.

Upon enrollment, we will send you a list of the ferrets currently in the program along with monthly reminder coupons for contributions. Select a ferret and you will receive a small framed photo of your foster “grandchild.” You will receive a bi-monthly newsletter, Ferret Poop, with updates about the ferrets in the program for as long as you choose to contribute. You can donate via Paypal, check, or call us to arrange to set up a monthly charge to your credit card.

Only the first month donation will be placed in your shopping cart. You can select to "foster" one or two ferrets to begin.
