Ferret Association of Connecticut print library - small portion

One small section of FACT’s extensive ferret print library

There is nothing more frightful than ignorance in action. – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, German writer

Library

Since 1991 the Ferret Association of Connecticut has amassed an enormous library of articles and brochures. Some material may include health protocols that have improved due to advances in veterinary medicine, the basics of behavior, care and, most importantly, the companionship ferrets offer the right household never change. Ferrets are, at their core, inquisitive, alert, mischievous and engaging animals. They are not suitable for everyone. They have their good points and bad like any species. Knowledge is crucial to making an informed decision as to their suitability at various stages in your family’s life.

We hope the information presented will be supportive and for those of us who embrace them “as is” will enjoy the included content. We included clarifying notes on the accuracy of the information provided.

NOTE: Many documents are stored as Adobe PDF’s. If you need the Adobe PDF reader, it is free to download from the Adobe website.  Mac users: search “Adobe PDF reader MAC” for the appropriate Adobe software.
