Ferret Veterinarians

This list of ferret veterinarians is provided as a service to those seeking health care for their pet ferret in the state of Connecticut and surrounding areas. Inclusion on this list does not imply any endorsement of the veterinarian or hospital listed. Neither does it mean, if a veterinarian or clinic is NOT listed, that they are not qualified to care for ferrets. Anyone seeking care for their ferret should ask the individual hospital about their qualifications, interest in treating, and experience with pet ferrets.

Individuals differ in their needs and pet care requirements. We might be perfectly satisfied with a specific doctor that you don’t like. Like in human medicine, practitioner choice involves many “intangibles” in addition to knowledge and capability. Please use the doctor with whom you are most comfortable and who best suits you.

Any veterinarian with an interest in treating ferrets is welcome to contact us and we will be happy to list them here. Any individual who has found a veterinarian who they feel is worth including is welcome to suggest the hospital contact us to be listed here.
