A Tale of Two Ferrets – just how and why do ferrets land up in a shelter?

Mira – Certain companion pets come into our lives and make an indelible impression on our lives. The same is true with shelters. While all our rescues are each special, some seem to help define and mold us in ways we never see coming. Mira was such a ferret.
