News, Newsletters & Brochures

Disseminating information is one of the Ferret Association of Connecticut’s core missions. No where is this more important than within our print and media programs or at our various events. FACT publishes 3 regular newsletters as well as an array of informational brochures available to the public.

Brochures

Made available free by single copy or at-cost in bulk, FACT produces a number of ferret informational brochures. These are available to members of the public, pet stores, veterinarians, or other organizations.

Paw Printz

Available by subscription, Paw Printz is published 5 times a year and averages 14 to 18 advertisement-free pages. It includes original articles written by FACT staff and associates; news articles from a variety of sources gathered from around the globe that directly or indirectly relate to ferrets; ferret health and care information; as well as important or entertaining reposts from the internet. It also includes a donation-free memorial message section for members and supporters.

FACT Ferret Poop

Our foster family and donor newsletter published every two months. Our foster families write all the stories and ferret updates themselves. Ferret Poop is sent to supporters enrolled in FACT’s Foster Program. It allows our foster “grandparent” donors to stay updated on the ferrets they are helping through this special program.

Ferret Shelter Newsletter – (Shelter Audience)

Published by the Ferret Shelters Directory, the Ferret Association of Connecticut manages and publishes the Directory newsletter aimed at ferret shelters and rescues. It is published infrequently on an as-needed basis.

Free Ferret Paw Print E-Newsletter – (General Audience)

This is our free e-newsletter published bi-monthly or as-needed. Older back-issues are available in our Library. Newer issues are available here.
