The Ferret Association has a very active Facebook presence. Primarily we post information about adoptees, foster ferrets, shelter events as well as our press releases. Photos are shared for all our followers to enjoy. We also share information on a variety of special interest topics that affect or are related to ferrets or their kin around the world.
In addition we maintain a Fundraising page – Ferret Assn of CT Fundraisers – where we run periodic auctions to support the shelter or other worthy causes such as the the Xavier Ferret Canine Distemper Fund, the Ferret Shelters Directory, or other ferret organizations around the world.

Oliver & Brodie are best buddies with a past who want a forever home together. Oliver arrived with an ear tag that indicates he may have originally come from a research facility. Brodie is the more typical "pet shop" ferret that was altered as a baby. We don't know how they ended up together, but they are friends and must go together. Oliver can be a little nippy, but he's a good boy who just needs an experienced, patient owner.

FACT has a new All Star team! New arrivals as of August 12...4 big bouncy boys - LeBron, Kobe, Jordan & Kareem - and 2 girls - Serena and Venus. These super athletes have all their shots and are just awaiting their microchips and they'll be ready for new homes. Everyone is a sable, and most are about 1.5 years old except for Kareem, who is older. Please note that everyone has only recently been altered and they are NOT descented so they may "poof" if upset. Stella is still available and ready to make her debut in your home.. Adoption Application Here
A sassy little chocolate girl, Stella would like a home with another ferret who can handle her large personality. She can be a little pushy sometimes so it's important that her new brother or sister not be a pushover! She can be a little nippy due to lack of socialization but has made great improvement in FACT's care. Currently we're recommending she be placed in a home without children under 12.
